Dr. François Borgeat, MD
Psychiatrist & Psychotherapist. Anxiety, Biofeedback & Preconscious Priming.
In the last 40 years, Dr. Borgeat has specialized in anxiety disorders. He is a Clinical Professor at the University of Montreal, Canada and Honorary Professor at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He has chaired the psychiatry departments of those universities.
Dr. Borgeat is a member of the Anxiety Disorders and Mood Program at the Mental Health University Institute of Montreal and has been conducting research on preconscious perception and psychotherapy for 40 years. As an associate researcher at the Fernand-Seguin Research Center, he has published more than a hundred articles and book chapters on anxiety, preconscious perception, and psychotherapies.
Dr. Borgeat has worked on the development of several computer programs and applications for adults and children in the fields of brain and behavioral research, biofeedback, preconscious priming and psychotherapy, including Muzzz, Poze and APAP. In 2015, he received the Heinz Lehmann Award of Excellence in Psychiatry from the Quebec Association of Psychiatrists.
